The Current Longevity Clinic Model
High-end longevity clinics have proliferated over the past decade. Fountain Life, Human Longevity Inc,
and Clinique La Prairie represent the premium tier of this market. Their offerings typically include
full-body MRI, genomic sequencing, extensive bloodwork, and AI-powered risk analysis.
The value proposition is straightforward: comprehensive screening identifies pathology at earlier
stages, when intervention is more effective. For conditions like cancer, early detection demonstrably
improves outcomes. For metabolic and cardiovascular disease, the equation is more complex.

The Gap Between Detection and Intervention
Screening identifies problems. Intervention addresses them. These are distinct activities,
and most longevity clinics excel at the former while offering limited depth in the latter.
A Cleerly scan may reveal soft plaque burden. A full-body
MRI may identify early arterial
calcification. Genomic analysis may flag elevated Lp(a). The patient receives comprehensive
data, then faces the question: what do I do with this information?
Standard recommendations follow. Statins may be prescribed. Lifestyle modifications are suggested.
The patient returns home with a detailed report and a referral to their local cardiologist,
who may or may not have the time or inclination to interpret advanced imaging they did not order.
The Vascular-First Approach
GRN Labs operates from a specific thesis: the vasculature is the delivery system for every
organ in the body. Cognitive function depends on cerebral perfusion. Sexual function depends
on blood flow to the corpora cavernosa. Energy and recovery depend on oxygen delivery to
muscle tissue. When the vessels fail, every downstream system is affected.
Generalist longevity clinics assess macrovascular disease. They measure plaque, stenosis,
and calcification. GRN Labs assesses microvascular health, the integrity of the endothelial
glycocalyx, and the functional capacity of the nitric oxide
signaling pathway. These are
the parameters that degrade first, years before imaging can detect structural disease.

GRN Labs does not compete with generalist longevity clinics. The services are complementary.
